The hockey world lost two young players this past week.

Scott Winkler, 23, passed away from unknown causes at his home in Norway. He was a 2008 draft pick of the NHL’s Dallas Stars and played for four years at Colorado College.

Kristians Pelss, 20, passed away this week after jumping from a bridge in his hometown of Riga, Latvia. Pelss was a 2010 draft pick of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers and formerly played for the WHL’s Edmonton Oil Kings.

Please keep these two young men, their families, friends, teammates and everyone else involved in your thoughts.
